Soapbox sponsors support community event
My WiSH Charity’s Soapbox Challenge is back for its fourth year this September and plans are well underway for another exciting day.
The day takes place on Mount Road in Bury St Edmunds with Soapbox City being the main hub of the day and based in the Priory School grounds.
The headline sponsor for 2023 is, once again, local fragrance company Treatt with additional sponsorship coming from Sealey Tools, GT Cleaning Machines, Halo Service Solutions, AC Webb Electrical, Knights Lowe Accountants, Larking Gowen, Clarkes of Walsham and the Bury Town Council.
Sally Daniels, fundraising manager and organiser of the day said “We are so grateful to all our sponsors. Having their support means we can cover the cost of the event and all money raised can then come to My WiSH Charity to allow us to enhance the care of patients and to support relatives and also the amazing staff across the West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust.”
Sally continued “We already have 17 teams signed up and it’s promising to be the best one yet. Sponsorship also means we can invite spectators to attend for free which is just amazing. It’s such a brilliant family day out and it’s wonderful to be able to offer this to families. We can’t wait to see huge crowds cheering on the soapboxes as they race down the hill”.
My WiSH Charity Soapbox Challenge will take place on Saturday 2nd September with the soapbox parade commencing at 11am.
