Supporting your local NHS charity doesn’t just have to be through financial donations.
If you have the time and means to give to support West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust through volunteering, we’d love to hear from you.
We are a small and dedicated team who are always eager to meet people who are passionate about supporting their community.
A volunteering role can be varied depending on fundraising requirements at the time. Some of the most common duties are:
- Assisting at stalls/bucket collections, informing the public of the charity’s work and gaining donations
- Supporting at charity fundraising events. This may include set up of the event, manning stalls and stewarding
- Distributing and collecting donation tins
- Delivering flyers, putting up posters
- Attending cheque presentations
- Helping to deliver talks to local community groups and schools.
