Local company support soapbox challenge
My WiSH Charity have announced that local company, Treatt, will be the main headline sponsor for their returning soapbox challenge in September.
The flavour and fragrance company, now based on Skyliner Way, has been an amazing supporter and advocate of the work that the NHS charity does.
CEO, Daemmon Reeve, said “Treatt are delighted to be headline sponsors again for the annual My WiSH Soapbox Challenge. After two years of cancelled Soapbox activities, we are ecstatic to unite with other local organisations again and raise money for such a vital cause. The soapbox event is a showcase of the wonderful community spirit we have here in Bury St Edmunds and is an absolute joy to be a part of.”
Sally Daniels, fundraising manager, said “It’s great to be back organising the soapbox challenge but we couldn’t do it without the support of companies like Treatt. All the money raised helps us to enhance the care of patients and support staff at West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust so it really does stay local. Teams are already signing up and we’ve heard of some great soapboxes being made so it will be exciting to see them on the day”.
Sally also added thanks to Mike Wells and AJ Joinery for making the charity their own special soapbox. “Mike is amazing and can turn his hand to anything. We love our soapbox prop which will be there on the day for people to have photos with”.
The event will take place on Saturday 3rd September and places are still available for teams to apply. Find out more at www.mywishcharity.co.uk/event/soapbox
