“💜 We’re incredibly proud to announce this year’s official charity partner: My WiSH Charity

My WiSH is the charity supporting West Suffolk Hospital, and together we’ll be raising funds specifically for the Cancer Unit in Bury St Edmunds to help enhance care and support for local cancer patients and their families.

We’re delighted to be providing 10 free charity places for this year’s race.

At Amok Athletics, we’ve seen first-hand the exceptional care provided by the Cancer Unit, making this partnership especially close to our hearts. Every mile you run and every pound you raise can make a real difference.

Here’s what your fundraising could help provide:
– £600 could fund Mama B’s for a whole year – a monthly support group for women undergoing cancer treatment.
– Around £2,500 could fund new and much-needed multipurpose treatment chairs, helping make patients more comfortable during their cancer care.

Whether you’re chasing a PB or taking on your very first half marathon, your fundraising will have a lasting impact on local patients and their families.
Ready to run for a reason?”
