Thank you to our Soapbox sponsors!

Thank you to our Soapbox sponsors!

My WiSH Charity want to thank local businesses for their support for their annual soapbox challenge.

Sally Daniels, fundraising manager and event organiser, said: “We couldn’t hold this event without our sponsors.  The money they donate to help us run the day is invaluable and allows us to raise as much as possible to enhance care across the West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust.”

Local flavour and fragrance company, Treatt, are headline sponsors once again. Chloe Ludkin, communications and engagement executive, said: “We are delighted to be sponsors of the annual My WiSH Soapbox Challenge for 2024. The event not only brings the community together in a spirit of fun and creativity, but also embodies the value of teamwork and innovation that we hold dear. We love being a part of such a vibrant tradition and look forward to watching the exciting races ahead!”

Also supporting since the first Soapbox race back in 2018 are Sealey Tools.  The tool company, based on the Moreton Hall, have entered a soapbox team as well as sponsoring the finish line each year.  Their soapboxes have included a space heater, car jack and a toolbox so the work put in has been incredible.  Gemma Dolan, finance director, said: “As a proud sponsor and participating team in the Soapbox Challenge, we at Sealey’s continue to support each year as we are invested in the success and impact of this event.  Our team love creating a new soapbox each year and thoroughly look forward to the fun and excitement that race day always brings! This partnership reflects our dedication to the amazing work that My WiSH provides our local NHS, supporting so many people within our community.”

Other sponsors to thank include A C Webb, Bury Town Council, Celant, Clarkes of Walsham, Enterprise, Infusions Group, Mowgli Street Food and Speedy Hire.

Sally added: “This event is held thanks to community support. We’ve hit a few snags over the years, as you do when organising large-scale events, but people are great at helping to get the day back on track. We couldn’t do it year after year without that help, so thank you to everyone from the sponsors to the volunteers to the teams. We are excited to bring West Suffolk our crazy Soapbox Challenge once again.”

My WiSH Soapbox 2024 takes place on Saturday 31st August on Mount Road, Bury St Edmunds.  Spectating is free and the Soapbox Parade opens the event at 11am from the Priory School.  Find out more.
