Thank you to our wonderful knitters. We currently have an abundance of crafts to distribute, however knitted or crocheted toys are always welcome.
If you have kindly crafted items for patients, please either drop it off to the My WiSH Charity office or the volunteers welcome desk, both in the foyer of West Suffolk Hospital.
Love knitting?
We have wonderful volunteers who help craft beautiful knitted and crocheted comforts for patients across West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust. You can help enhance the care patients receive by crafting:
- Bears

- Drawstring property bags
- Finger puppets
- Twiddle muffs
- Worry worms
- Syringe driver bags
- Baby cardigans
- And more!
The maternity department at the West Suffolk Hospital currently have an abundance of baby hats, so we kindly ask you to hold off on donating these to us. Thank you.
Take a look at our handy craft leaflet.
Blanketeers
The Blanketeers meet on the second Wednesday of each month, from 2-4pm in the Chapel at West Suffolk Hospital.
The Blankeeter meeting is an informal group where you knit and knatterwhile making wonderful gifts for end-of-life patients at West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust.
You don’t have to be a professional knitter, our lovely volunteers will showyou how to knit or crochet, if you wish to learn. Come along for the two hours or just pop in, they’d love to see you.
For more information, view our Blanketeer leaflet.
